Here you will enjoy 570 square feet of luxury where we have tried to anticipate everything you will need to make your stay a pleasant memory. The comfortable furnishings reflect the 1920’s -1950’s when the Montgomery sisters lived here. The Sisters’ Suite is named for the two oldest Montgomery children, Mabel ( 1879 – 1968), and Bell M. Tilghman ( 1882 – 1960), who shared this area of the house in their later years. Many of their personal affects and furniture are here. This part of the house was a 1941 addition.
It’s hard to find the right words to express to you what a wonderful time we had at your inn. It is beautiful and the Sisters’ Suite was great. Our meals were awesome, and our stay so relaxing. You two made our first visit to a bed and breakfast awesome. Even though we aren’t far from home, we have felt like we’ve been in a dreamland.
From the moment we stepped on your veranda and were so graciously welcomed we knew in an instant that we had chosen the perfect setting to celebrate our 45th anniversary. What a place! What a wonderful historic estate. Your desire to serve and your attention to detail and your warm hospitality make us feel like family.
Our trip here was a spur of the moment attempt to spend 1:1 time together. Thank you for sharing your home with us. The rich details of this home are amazing. I love the intimate details you have in every room. The house tells a story of the days gone by, but more importantly, the love of this home today.
